Chief Engineer/Producer Bob Beals
The major difference between recording studios is the person sitting behind the board. Bob Beals is the chief engineer and producer here at Sound Foundation Studios. With a career spanning over 40 years, Bob has established himself as a key figure in the music industry and has worked with notable artists such as Joe Vitale (Drummer and keyboardist with Joe Walsh, The Eagles, Crosby Still and Nash and Dan Fogelberg among others) Jamie Brantley (Lead Guitarist and Road Manager for Ronnie Milsap) Grammy award-winning producer Paul Zaleski (Al Greene), Kenny G’s bass player, Vail Johnson, and smooth jazz great Steve Oliver.
Bob’s philosophy centers on understanding each artist’s unique sound and vision, striving to bring that to life in the recording process. He believes that “every artist is unique. Each has a sound they’re trying to achieve to set them apart and yet be relevant to today’s audiences.”
